nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A trough W of the offshore waters and strong high pressure NE of
Hawaii is generating strong to near gale force east to southeast
winds and rough seas over the region. The trough will continue to
shift far W of the area through Wednesday. A weak front will move 
across the NW waters Thursday afternoon into Friday, then weaken 
and dissipate over the central waters over the weekend. A large 
NW swell will also bring elevated seas over the weekend.
